About:Blank Unbranded Notebook

Christmas is less than a week away and unfortunately I am yet to complete my Christmas list. When I make purchases though, I don’t find myself drawn to a particular label (especially the high-end kind). If it looks good or if it’s practical, I will most likely purchase it – only if I have the money to make the purchase that is. It may be surprising for such a statement to be made from a girl, but I don’t understand the fascination of spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on a bag that I’m just going to throw around anyway. If I own that Chanel bag, am I instantly going to get someone’s approval? I don’t think so. Unfortunately, today’s society chooses to live in a materialistic world.

Finally a company is on the same wavelength as I am. This is what a notebook (and everything else) should be: no brand, no logo. The About:Blank Notebook is 160 pages of minimalist goodness. They’re made with thick, acid-free paper which lets you use both sides of the page, while their newly patented binding method allows the notebook to open fully and have pages torn out without disrupting the rest.

Though pages appear to be blank, one side features subtle white lines which allows you to organise your scribbles without even intending to do so. They measure 106 x 178 x 12 mm and come in black, white, and red. These make the perfect gift for those who are always scribbling something down in a Moleskine. Best thing about it? The notebooks sell for only $15 at Minimal Goods!
