Since it was a great, sunny early Sunday afternoon over the weekend, Vo and I were deciding on where to go out for some brunch time. We wanted to venture away from our usual cafes, and whilst we were pondering about new places to go, he pitched the idea of going to the Revolver Cafe, since he has always heard great things from his friends. Hey, why not? So Revolver Cafe it was, and oh how grateful was I that I had my camera with me.

Revolver Cafe is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Annandale. As you can see, it is a popular spot, and we had to wait around a bit to be seated.
It has its own community notice board, below this wall portrait of a mermaid.
Revolver’s menu is all about the free range, organic, gluten free eggs and meats. They follow the motto, “Do what you love and love what you do.”
The cafe’s inner interior design is clustered with modern and antique decorations and furniture.
When ordering Revolver’s own made organic teas, it comes with a cute, little sand hourglass to time when the tea is ready for drinking.
Aside from the daily varieties in their menu, Revolver also has blackboard specials that changes daily.
I ordered the grilled barramundi with kipfler potatoes olives, capers and cherry tomatoes salad special.
Vo tried the two soft-boiled eggs in tray with mustard, butter, gruyere cheese, ham and avocado special.
Being inside, one could tell the warmth, special, loving auras Revolver Cafe brings forth. There has been a lot of hard work and effort put into this place by the owner and his family.
“Our aim was to create a space that was like no other. To offer more than your typical cafe style food and coffee.
“To create a space that was in every inch and detail in some way a piece of me and what i love and to bring it all together in a timeless warm environment that makes people feel like they are at home not at a cold or clinical cafe.
“To me so many people who are in the hospitality industry have forgotten exactly what it is about… It is not about money or being cool. Hospitality is not just the name of our industry… It is supposed to be what we offer…”
Revolver Cafe first opened in the spring of 2009 and still attracts many customers. Be sure to drop by when you get the chance!
