Developed in order to support, celebrate and contribute to Australia’s thriving creative culture, Cake Wines are a recently launched wine brand built on the premise of promoting the local community.
The concept is simple: 25 cents from every bottle is donated to FBi radio (Sydney – 94.5FM) and for the launch products, artists Kill Pixie and Beci Orpin have created the art featured on the bottle label. I gather more local talent are already working on upcoming releases, so that’s something to look out for. The wine itself is sourced from Adelaide Hills and is available in either Cabernet Merlot or Sauvignon Blanc. They’re ideal for everyday drinking and will suit even the most casual of wine drinkers.
Cake Wines are available in a variety of stockists around the Sydney area, check their page for a complete list. While you’re there you might notice they’ve got a nice web site too.
