This man’s talent leaves me speechless. Just from watching the video above, I found myself uttering the words ‘wow’ and ‘crazy’ several times.
Riusuke Fukahori is the man I’m talking about. Hailing from Japan, Fukahori “paints” like none other. He painted these incredible three dimensional goldfish artworks that look very realistic. As you can probably imagine, the process is very detailed, meticulous and very well-executed.
As we see in the video, the subjects are painted layer by layer, to create a result that looks like the goldfish are real. The only thing is, these goldfish won’t move. The transparent resin gives an excellent appearance of water, making the painting appear even more alive and realistic. Fukahori displayed his work at a recent exhibition in London titled Goldfish Salvation.
